The Graduate School in collaboration with the office of the University Research Services successfully conducted the 7th Research Conference with the theme “Strengthen research innovation output through dissemination and collaboration” last March 11, 2023 at Hon. Datu Blah Sinsuat Building.

       The Dean, Dr. Tarhata S. Guiamalon, noted in her opening remarks that the Graduate School is committed to journeying with students from the beginning to the end, in both academic courses as well as in research pursuits.

       University President Prof. Dr. Sema G. Dilna emphasized in his message the importance of research in different aspects of life. He also stressed the pivotal role of the university in generating knowledge through the conduct of relevant and meaningful research. This is not only for the students but also for the faculty members.

       There were 29 researches presented by the students from the Master and doctorate level. Moreover, two evaluators were invited to provide evaluation on the research presentation. The panel of evaluators were Dr. Muhamad Ali Midzid, Director of Graduate Studies of Mindanao State University, Maguindanao and Dr. Alfred B. Taboada, Academic Head of STI Cotabato.

       The Graduate school encourages every students that after the conference, or after their final oral defense, they will sustain the enthusiasm in research by publishing their paper. //Tarhata Piang Solaiman
