Prof. Saidamin P. Bagolong, Director of the University Policy and Scientific Publication, was invited as moderator for the 10th National Social Science Congress under Parallel Session 7 Efficiency and Effectiveness: Assessing the Management and Implementation of Healthcare Systems. The congress was a triennial activity conducted by the Philippine Social Science Council. This year highlighted various studies centering the social sciences on future-proof and well-being. It was held from July 27 to 29, 2023, at Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Mr. Ryan A. Uda, Administrative Officer V/HRMO III, Mr. Saed E. Abdulrahman, Administrative Officer V/Records Officer III of the IPHO-Maguindanao Provincial Hospital, and alums of the Master of Public Administration Program joined him. Mr. Uda presented his paper on the Implementation of Nursing Service Operations in Maguindanao Provincial Hospital, and Mr. Abdulrahman presented his paper on the Implementation of the Philippine Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (PIMAM) Program Among Hospitals in Maguindanao. Other presenters in the same parallel session were from Bais District Hospital, Bindoy District Hospital, Silliman University, University of the Philippines Manila, and Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
