The 2nd Regional Research and Development Coordinating Council Meeting CY 2025, organized by the SOCCSKSARGEN Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (SOXAARRDEC), brought together Consortium Member Institutions (CMI) to discuss key initiatives and progress in agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources research and development.

Representing Cotabato State University (CSU) President Dr. Sema G. Dilna was Dr. Tarhata S. Guiamalon, University Research Director, who attended the meeting on December 11, 2025, at Habi Hotel in Koronadal City. The meeting was presided over by the RRDCC Chairperson, who is also the SCC President. The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region XII (DA-BFAR XII) sponsored the meeting.

The meeting proper started at 10:00 AM with the presentation and approval of the agenda, followed by the reading of the highlights of the previous meeting by Dr. Julius Jerome G. Ele, Consortium Director.

The meeting agenda included presentations on the Accomplishment Report for the current year, Financial Report, Consortium updates, collection of accomplishment reports, and the RAISE Program in Region XII. These discussions aimed to enhance collaboration, share best practices, and drive innovation in the region’s agriculture and natural resources sectors.

Dr. Sailila E. Abdula, RRDCC Vice Chairperson and PhilRice-MES Branch Director, delivered the closing remarks before the meeting was adjourned.
