The faculty members of the graduate public administration program, namely Dr. Saidamin P. Bagolong, Director of External and International Linkages and concurrent program head, Dr. Radzata A. Abdulgani, Chief Administrative Officer, Dr. Ainonnacirin A. Abdulgani, Human Resource Officer, and Dr. Sylvia A. Delosa, part-time faculty, as well as their students: Donna Mae A. Tolabing, Mikaela Antonetta B. Lazo, Asyah A. Abdulhamed, Al-Shariff S. Hadjinor, and Haron M. Ebrahim attended the 2022 Philippine Society of Public Administration (PSPA) International Conference with the theme "Bringing Back Equity and Ethics in Philippine Public Administration and Governance: A Public Sector Reform Agenda for the New Administration" from November 22 to 24, 2020 at the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City, Philippines and via Zoom teleconferencing.
This year's conference is the 40 year of the PSPA, which serves as an opportune time to pursue public sector reforms in the spirit of implementing pending programs and services, continuing best practices of past administrations, and further promoting accountability.
The Philippine Society of Public Administration (PSPA) is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to improving public service since 1981. It provides an opportunity to build a solid professional network with other social scientists, policymakers, and school administrators involved in education and training in public administration.
Furthermore, Dr. Saidamin P. Bagolong, Dr. Mhd Faheem M. Aliuden, and Dr. Sylvia A. Delosa, and their students namely Baischenarizah Abdul, Andrea Mae Quiambao, and Houssam Abedin participated in the 2nd National Research Conference organized by Tarlac State University with the theme “Fostering Resiliency, Innovation, and Collaboration through Meaningful Research” last December 1, 2022 via Zoom Teleconferencing.
Last December 6-7, 2022, they also attended the annual general assembly of the Association of Schools of Public Administration in the Philippines (ASPAP) held at the International Center of Public Administration, National College of Public Administration and Governance-University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. This year’s conference theme, “Public Administration, Management, and Governance Education in the Philippines: Transcending Pandemic Uncertainties and Championing Academic and Institutional Reforms,” aims to map out the directions of academic and institutional reforms and shape the future of PAMG education in the country. The ASPAP is a non-stock and non-profit national organization of academic institutions all over the country offering degree programs in public administration, management, and governance, organized in 1979. //Saidamin P.
