Cotabato State University is committed to providing its students with quality education through advanced higher education programs that are in compliance with the requirements of CHED and other accrediting agencies for higher education. This is evident from the recent Graduate School and undergraduate accreditation results. As a result of successfully complying with and passing the criteria and requirements set by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc., it was awarded Level III and Level II Re-Accredited.
The Master of Arts in Education major in Administration and Supervision (MAEd) successfully passed Phase 1 of two (2) evaluation phases during the 4th survey visit, and has undergone phase 2, earning a grand mean of 4.56 and an EXCELLENT descriptive rating from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. For the period of October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023, the AACCUP granted Level III re-accreditation to the MAEd program.
As stated in AACCUP accreditation manual, the level III Re-accredited status is awarded to programs with a reasonably high standard of instruction; with highly visible research tradition; with the existence of working consortia or linkages with other schools and/or agencies; and with extensive and functional library and other learning resource facilities. In addition, four (4) other graduate programs were also reviewed by AACCUP accreditors alongside MAEd during the same period. The Ph.D. in Educational Management (4.14); Ph.D. in Public Administration (4.20); MA in Peace and Development (4.02); and MS in Agricultural Extension (4.12) passed Phase 1 of two (2) phases of evaluation in the 3rd survey visit and has undergone phase 2 with a descriptive rating of VERY SATISFACTORY and were granted Level II Re-accredited status from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023. //Tarhata Piang Solaiman
