In a recent campus visit, the President of the Cotabato State University (CotSU), Prof. Dr. Sema G. Dilna, welcomed the Rector of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau-Indonesia, Dr. Saidul Amin, along with his team, Mr. Abunawas Muis, the daily board of trustee, Mr. Pahmi, S.Pd, the Head of the International Affairs and Partnerships, and Mme Dwi Hastuti Hasan, faculty of the business department. During the visit, a formal ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was forged, followed by a public lecture with Rector Amin as the resource speaker.
Also in attendance was Dr. Abonawas M. Pendaliday, the Vice President for Administration and Finance. Dr. Teng A. Alim, the Vice President for Research, Extension, Development, and Resource Generation; Dr. Norodin D. Salam, the Director for External and International Linkages; Mr. Mohammad Hatah B. Bilon, the Dean of the College of Islamic Studies; Mr. Saudi B. Abubakar and Mr. Esmail M. Ali, members of the Board of Regents, Prof. Dr. Saidamin P. Bagolong, the CotSU R& D Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Hasna L. Lidasan, the Director of the Halal Research and Development Center, and other key officials of the University.
The visit was a significant opportunity for both parties to discuss possible opportunities that would improve the academic programs offered by the University. As part of their visit, Dr. Amin and his colleagues also went on a tour at the Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage, where Dr. Salem Y. Lingasa, the Chairperson of the Commission, welcomed them. The visit was a testament to the University's commitment to stronger partnerships with other foreign institutions.
The realization of the visit was an initiative and part of the accomplishments of Prof. Dr. Saidamin P. Bagolong, during his term as the former Director of the External and International Linkages, through the effort of Dr. Hasna L.
