Dr. Saidamin P. Bagolong, Director of Policy and Scientific Publication; Engr. Elena O. Biado, Director of the Agro-Forestry Research Development Center, and Dr. Analiza S. Macacua, Program Head of the BS Agriculture Program, presented papers at the First International Research and Innovation Conference on Education, Engineering, and Agriculture with the theme “Strengthening Research and Innovation Ecosystem through Education, Engineering, and Agriculture Interface” from December 4 to 6, 2023 at the International Convention Center, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, La Union.

       Dr. Macacua and Engr. Biado presented their paper on the Tracer Study of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Graduates from School Years 2018-2022, while Dr. Bagolong presented his paper on the Administration of Private Higher Education Institutions in Region 12.

       The conference is organized by the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) in partnership with the Udon Thani Rajabhat University Thailand, Van Lang University Vietnam, Department of Science and Technology Region 1, Ilocos Consortium of Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development, University of Northern Philippines, Pangasinan State University, WCC Aeronautical and Technological College, President Ramon Magsaysay State University, Mountain Province State Polytechnic College, University of Eastern Philippines, and Central Mindanao University.

       This year’s conference focused on the intersection of the three fields and explores how advancement can be integrated to achieve creative innovations, foresight, and futures thinking that support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. //Saidamin P. Bagolong, DPA.
