On August 5, 2021, the University President Prof. Dr. Sema G. Dilna issued a Memorandum Order 138 s. 2021, reconstituting the composition of the Committee on University Code with members: Dr. Kundo M. Pahm, Jr., Dr. Saidamin P. Bagolong, Dr. Ainonnacirin A. Abdulgani, Dr. Jaimelyn L. Ututalum, and Dr. Mobarac R. Dimasindel, whose main tasked were to draft, present, disseminate, and package the proposed university code.

           After four months of preparation, the committee submitted the proposed university code to the University President on December 27, 2021, for consultation. On January 10, 2022, the Committee on University Code conducted a virtual consultation attended by the Vice Presidents for Administration and Finance, Academic Affairs, and Research, Extension, and Production, Deans and Directors, Program and Unit Heads, Faculty Members, Students, and Alumni.

           The main objective of the first series of virtual consultations is to present the proposed university code for review and allow the university stakeholders feedback and ask questions. During the open forum, interested parties had the opportunity to express their opinions, suggestions, and recommendations on the draft version of the proposed university code. The committee will carefully review all input and consider drawing up the new draft version to be presented in the next virtual consultation. //Saidamin P. Bagolong, DPA
