This activity is part of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) approved research project entitled Supply Chain Assessment of Selected Halal Products in the Bangsamoro Region by Asst. Prof. Baina Saway and Asst. Prof Rhanest Telindo. The activity is designed to orient the involved personnel on the project to be conducted to meet the objectives and deliverables of the project.
As part of the opening program, Dr. Teng A. Ali, VP of Research, Extension, and Resource Generation (VPREP), shared words of wisdom and explained Islam's principles related to Halal food to the attendees.
The Research Director, Dr. Tarhata S. Guiamalon, encouraged participants to research more in her message, and her office is available for technical support. She also relayed the message of University President Dr. Sema G. Dilna: "We should continue strengthening our research efforts and place more emphasis on scientific writing as well as the importance of research to solve existing problem since research is the foundation of all development"
