This activity is part of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) approved research project entitled Supply Chain Assessment of Selected Halal Products in the Bangsamoro Region by Asst. Prof. Baina Saway and Asst. Prof Rhanest Telindo. The activity is designed to orient the involved personnel on the project to be conducted to meet the objectives and deliverables of the project.
On 10 June 2024, the Masters in Public Administration (MPA) Program of Cotabato State University (CSU) spearheaded and facilitated an Experiential Learning Activity (ELA), which aimed at engaging with key officials of both private and public offices to discuss their respective major programs, projects, and services being implemented that benefit the general public. The activity was held at the Bangsamoro Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (READi) Conference Room, Bangsamoro Government Center, Cotabato City.
GENERAL SANTOS CITY—Professor Saidamin P. Bagolong is among the ten experts invited by the Development Academy of the Bangsamoro (DAB) under the Center of Knowledge Management Division to participate in a knowledge exchange forum on leadership development programs.
KABACAN, NORTH COTABATO—Prof. Saidamin P. Bagolong was recently invited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 12 to serve as a Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) assessor. He lent his expertise to validate the Bachelor of Public Administration program held last April 3-4, 2024, at the University of Southern Mindanao in Kabacan, North Cotabato. Validating the program requires the university to secure the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC). Ms. Leah S. Manon-og, the Education Supervisor of CHED Region 12, supervised him.
Prof. Dr. Saidamin P. Bagolong, Director for Policy and Scientific Publication, attended the Training Workshop on Research Methods for Gender and Development Studies from February 22-23, 2023, at the VIP Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City. He was joined by other directors, administrators, researchers, and faculty members from various public and private higher education institutions and national government agencies in the Philippines. The Association of Scholarly Editors, in cooperation with the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research (PAIR), hosted the training workshop intending to determine the scientific sources of gender publications, learn the research framework for gender and development studies, explore research methods for gender research, and utilize the results of gender research for policy, program, and advocacy.
Prof. Saidamin P. Bagolong, Director of Policy and Scientific Publication, was adjudged the Best Presenter award for his paper on the administration of private higher education institutions and their survival existence in a community in Region 12, besting 18 presenters under the education cluster on the theme professional development and policy/program implementation, at the First International Research and Innovation Conference on Education, Engineering, and Agriculture held December 4 to 6, 2023 at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, Province of La Union, Philippines.
