In response to CSU's goal to improve the quality of life of the communities through the implementation of extension services, the public administration program conducted its annual community extension services project dubbed "Reformed Initiatives for Sustainable Empowerment Using Participatory approach to Bridge Unemployment through Leadership Discourse to bring Organizational Network or RISE UP BULDON project" with the theme "Ang Magaling na Pamantasan Tumutulong sa Pamayanan."
CSU Graduate School faculty headed by Dean Dr. Tarhata S. Guiamalon, Dr. Samsia A. Ibrahim and MSAE AE 603 students conducted Agriculture Training on Native chicken production and management, Urban Gardening and food tray weaving in Barangay Rosary Heights 11, Cotabato City. The said activity introduced participants to the importance of organic farming, the industry of turning farm wastes into organic fertilizer, and making money out of trash which is essential in improving the lives of the community within the existing ecosystem and minimizing pollution and erosion of the fertile soil. Abdulgani, Chief Administrative Officer, Dr. Ainonnacirin A. Abdulgani, Human Resource Officer, and Dr. Sylvia A. Delosa, part-time faculty, as well as their students: Donna Mae A. Tolabing, Mikaela Antonetta B. Lazo, Asyah A. Abdulhamed, Al-Shariff S. Hadjinor, and Haron M. Ebrahim attended the 2022 Philippine Society of Public Administration (PSPA) International Conference with the theme "Bringing Back Equity and Ethics in Philippine Public Administration and Governance: A Public Sector Reform Agenda for the New Administration" from November 22 to 24, 2020 at the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City, Philippines and via Zoom teleconferencing.
Dr. Tarhata S. Guiamalon, Dean of the Graduate School, Cotabato State University (CSU) presented a paper in the World Conference on Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation (WCMRI) 2022 jointly organized by Institute for Engineering Research and Publication (IFERP) and Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology last October 28-29, 2022 at Furama River view Hotel, Singapore with the theme of “Pursuing a Critical Stance at the Foreign, Economic, Cultural And academic policies that are impacting innovation in multidisciplinary research world wide”. The main objective of the WCMRI 2022, according to Mr. Rudra Bhanu Satpathy, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of IFERP is to grant the amazing opportunity to learn about groundbreaking development in modern industry, talk through difficult workplace scenarios with peers who experience the same points, and experience enormous growth and development as a professional. The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) 12 Monitoring and Evaluation of CSU Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) 2022-2031 visited Cotabato State University on September 26-27, 2022. The Team headed by Dr. Zohrahaydah N. Panawidan, OIC-Chief Education Program Specialist of the Commission on Higher Education XII. With her are the members of the Technical Working Group, Genaro R. Andres, LUDIP Focal / OIC- Supervising Education Program Specialist; Engr. Jhan Jkem B. Fontanilla, Education Supervisor II; Danstone Guy P. Dayaday, Education Supervisor II; Karla Mae A. In quest for the improvement of quality of life through extension services, the Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Social Welfare programs of the CSU-Graduate School conducted a community extension activity last September 29, 2022 at the GAD Building of the LGU of Sultan Mastura Maguindanao.
In pursuit of perpetuating the aspiration of human resource development as one of the capital investments of the Bangsamoro community towards economic development, security and prosperity and pursuant to its goal of enhancing and expanding academic programs in a community of learning that promotes academic excellence and innovation as well as improving the quality of life through its extension services, the Cotabato State University (CSU) formerly known as Cotabato City State Polytechnic College (CCSPC), First Party represented by the current University President, Prof. Sema G. Dilna, Ed.D. along with the Dean of the Graduate School, Tarhata Solaiman Guiamalon, Ph.D. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Noorul Eilm Academy Foundation Incorporated (NEAFI), Second Party represented by President Dingan C. Ali, Ph.D., former CCSPC President together with the NEAFI Principal of Elementary Department, Mr. Mohamed Lumpingan.
